Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Donates 1 Billion Dollars to Coronavirus Relief
Written by laserteam on April 8, 2020
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has upped the ante as far coronavirus relief contributions go.
He announced via Twitter (of course) that he’s donating 1 billion of his own money — which makes just 28% of his wealth — into a new fund dedicated to COVID-19 relief.
According to Jack, after the pandemic is over the left other money will then be used to provide support for girls’ health and education, as well as UBI (universal basic income).
The money will be tracked publicly using Google Docs.
