Tory Lanez Beefs With Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Over Sample Clearances

Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Smith accused Tory Lanez of illegally sampling two songs from the R&B group’s 2005 album, Bluestars.
Spectacular then commented on an Instagram post showing the tweet. “you should have just stole it like Grind On Me and Your Body,” he wrote. “Why stop now …. Just keeping it 2 Virgils.”
Tory was quick to respond in an IG Story, claiming that he “bought the rights [to the samples from Pretty Ricky’s “Grind With Me” and “Your Body”] from whoever signed u and publishes your music.”
He added, “But I guess you weren’t apart of that conversation ??♂️? go stare in someone eyes and rub on someone thighs and leave me outta this one …. goodnight my black brother ✊?.
