(Pitchfork) – Verzuz has announced that its next installment will feature T.I. and Jeezy battling over their biggest hits. It’s the start of the program’s second season, and it’s happening at 8 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, November 19. See more details below.
Since launching in the spring as a creative outlet during the COVID-19 pandemic, Verzuz has hosted a number of heavy-hitter guests: 2 Chainz and Rick Ross, DMX and Snoop Dogg, Brandy and Monica, plus several more. Its most recent installment featured Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight on September 14, which included a surprise appearance from Dionne Warwick. T.I. released his eleventh album The L.I.B.R.A. (The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) on October 16, and Jeezy surprise released the seven-track project Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision in late March.
