Charlamagne Says Nicki Minaj Went “Too Far” By Mentioning Megan Thee Stallion’s Mother On “Big Foot”

(Yahoo) – Charlamagne Tha God has shared his reaction to Nicki Minaj’s diss record aimed at Megan Thee Stallion.

On Monday (Jan. 29), the radio host expressed that he felt Nicki Minaj crossed the line by mentioning Thee Stallion’s deceased mother on the song, titled “Big Foot.” “I know we say all is fair in love and rap battles, but man, hearing Nicki keep talking about Megan’s deceased mother, that ain’t it,” Charlamagne said during a broadcast of The Breakfast Club.

“I don’t see the need to bring in someone’s deceased mother. Like I said, I can’t say it’s not fair, I’m just speaking from a human perspective. On a human level, I don’t agree with that.”

Charlamagne and cohost DJ Envy discussed the ongoing back-and-forth between the two female rap stars, which heated up with the release of Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “HISS” on Friday (Jan. 26) and led to Nicki Minaj lashing out at the GRAMMY Award winner on social media.

The South Carolina native contends that Nicki previewed many of the most scathing lyrics from “Big Foot” on social media, thus minimizing their impact. “Megan put out [the] ‘HISS’ song Thursday night at midnight and for the next 72 hours, all weekend, Nicki just has been talking about her on social media,” he continued.
