(Daily News) – Yeezy is saying “cheese” with an all-new, attention-grabbing grill.
Reps for the hip-hop artist formerly known as Kanye West have confirmed that he underwent a procedure for custom titanium teeth.
Ye, 46, first brandished the metallic teeth in posts to his Instagram story this week — and they’re apparently the real deal.
The unidentified source told TODAY.com that the 24-time Grammy winner does indeed have “new metal fixed prosthodontics,” which were installed by Beverly Hills-based dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly.
“They are, as the name suggests, fixed and permanent. This goes way beyond veneers or grills,” the insider told the outlet. “His particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before.”
The source clarified, however, that the envelope-pushing fashion mogul did not have his teeth removed.
